FREE MOVE-YEAR CHECKLIST
New York or New Jersey to Florida move-year tax organizer
Answer a short, non-sensitive review to build a printable checklist for your move timeline, homes, state day counts, work locations, income, payments, and notices. The organizer helps prepare for a tax review; it does not decide residency or filing requirements.

Select categories only. Do not enter names, addresses, exact dates, tax identification numbers, account numbers, dollar amounts, or document contents. You can add exact details by hand after printing.
Private by design: your selections stay in this browser. The analytics event records only that the tool was started or completed, never the answers you select.
WHY THE CATEGORIES MATTER
A move changes more than a mailing address
A move-year review generally starts with the facts: when the move occurred, which homes remained available, where each workday occurred, and when each type of income was earned or received. New York and New Jersey apply their own residency and source-income rules. Florida does not impose an individual personal income tax.
This organizer does not calculate tax or decide which returns are required. It creates a records list that can support a later review of federal, part-year, nonresident, withholding, payment, and notice issues.
