Can a CPA prepare my taxes online?
Many tax-preparation, planning, notice, and related services can be completed without repeated office visits. Organizers, document exchange, messages, signatures, invoices, and completed work are handled through the appropriate secure workflow after an engagement is accepted.
Can I work with Tavella CPA Group if I do not live nearby?
Possibly. Tavella CPA Group uses a cloud-based process, but that does not mean every service is available in every jurisdiction. Stefano Tavella, CPA is licensed in New York and New Jersey. The firm confirms the filings, states, service scope, timing, and fee before work begins.
Which tax services can be completed online?
Potential services include personal and business tax returns, estimated-tax planning, IRS and state notice assistance, selected sales-tax work, and related bookkeeping or payroll support when separately accepted. The written scope identifies each service and filing included.
How are tax documents exchanged?
After engagement setup, sensitive records are exchanged through the approved secure client portal. The public contact form is only for basic contact information and a short, non-sensitive description. Do not send Social Security numbers, tax returns, bank information, payroll files, or notices through that form or ordinary email.
Can business and personal returns be coordinated?
Yes, when both returns and the related coordination are included in the written engagement. Business and personal returns remain separate filings, and the scope identifies each included entity, owner, return, state, and service.
Is every service available in every state?
No. Availability depends on the service, jurisdiction, filing type, records, timing, licensing or authorization requirements, and current capacity. Tavella CPA Group reviews those facts before accepting an engagement.
What should I have ready for the first call?
Be ready to explain the service needed, tax year or filing period, states involved, known deadlines, entities or income sources involved, and whether the records are organized. Sensitive documents are not needed for the initial call.
Does submitting the form create an engagement or reserve a deadline?
No. Submitting a request does not create a CPA-client relationship, start work, guarantee acceptance, or reserve a filing or response deadline. Services begin only after acceptance and a signed written engagement.
